How do manufacturers obtain the "OK" Quality Seal?

1. Interested manufacturers clarify first if their condoms are able to comply with the quality standards. These are described in the Regulations.
2. The manufacturer engages himself to comply with these requirements for every type of condom of the concerned brand.
3. The manufacturer appoints a laboratory for testing. A list of accredited laboratories is distributed by Johannes Gauglhofer gauglhofer at guetesiegel.ch
4. One batch of every type of condom has to be tested. Tests must be performed along the guidelines of the Regulations. Data must be sent electronically to Johannes Gauglhofer gauglhofer at guetesiegel.ch
5. If the required quality can be attested on the basis of the results, the manufacturer signs a contract with the Association for the Condom Quality Seal.
6. This contract gives detailed rules for the "OK" Quality Seal use.
